One of my favorite bloggers in Entrecard is Martin Eichelmann, who likes to call himself Cornyman.
Cornyman is a prolific blogger, maintaining four (4) good quality blogs, each blog with different niche, namely, About Babies and Kids, The One Minute Guide, Cornymans Blogreviews, and Cornymans Money-Blog.
It is not uncommon for some bloggers in Entrecard to host contests, with Entrecredits (ECs, the currency in Entrecard) as the main prizes. In fact, currently there are a few contests which are on-going, initiated by Entrecard member-bloggers.
But Cornyman’s contest is unique, different and stupendous. Like a mega production, the prizes will involve mega Entrecredits, projected to reach One Million, yes, 1,000,000 ECs, with cash (in U.S. $) and other valuable prizes. There will be daily, weekly, and monthly prizes at stake.

Well, well, too bad. I left Entrecard 3 months ago. I should have joined the contest if I’m still a member. But there’s life after Entrecard, although traffic to my blog has lessened.

thanks for the great support for OUR big contest. It is indeed OUR contest as each sponsor will get involved into this game.
On the one side they throw in some thousand ECs, Cash, ad spaces, books, ebooks, bracelet, ear rings and so on. The more diversified the prizes are the more persons will take part in it!
On the other side there is everything they want,a visitor, someone who read a specific post, someone who might follow after reading the post, someone who might come back.
It will boost many things like Eli already mentioned (PageRank, Alexa Ranking), additional Technorati Authority/reactions and within EntreCard their ptake opularity which increases the advertising price for their blog.
