For the first time since I joined Entrecard on middle of July 2009 or three-and-a-half months ago, I’m publishing my Top Ten droppers for the month of October 2009.

I give credit to Liza Cochico, a respected and well-liked blogger, for this suggestion.

Indeed, publishing the top 10 Entrecard droppers every month is a fitting gesture to acknowledge my loyal visitor-bloggers who visit my blog and drop on my EC widget for 31 days, rain or shine, in bad days or in good times.

At present Entrecard is my single biggest source of traffic, with at least 300 daily visitors from EC members, accounting for roughly 33% my blog’s total traffic.

At an average of 300 a day, the visitors from EC are already substantial, even though I also advertise in the Adgitize, CMF Ads, Project Wonderful and receive many hits everyday from search engines.

Other bloggers argue that Entrecard traffic is a drop and run traffic, resulting to high bounce rate. But that is the responsibility of the site owner to hold the visitors who drop on his/her widget by publishing interesting and good quality content posts and updating it regularly.

Besides, traffic is traffic, anyway you look at it. And my 300 visitors daily from Entrecard is a traffic that is hard to generate and find.
