Shaunalynn, the Entrecard moderator at the EC Forum and a respected blogger, has asked me about the Adgitize Ad Network, its cost, traffic, how does it work to be a publisher, etc.

There were also other bloggers from Entrecard who inquired from me about my personal experience with the Adgitize, since they know that I’m both a publisher and advertiser.

A Free 31 Days Advertising

As a blogger it is important to promote your blog to make it known to the world, especially to your target readers. As such, advertising in the Adgitize is both an awesome and a wonderful option.

Since I started advertising last week of May 2009, I can always earned in one month from the Adgitize what I’ve been paying for a 31-day ad.

For this month of September 2009, I have already earned $ 14.29 which is actually a cash rebate as a publisher / advertiser. The amount is more than enough to pay for the next month advertising for another 31-day ad.

Thus, with the 31-day ad in the Adgitize costing $ 14 only, it is like my advertising for one month is FREE, with a little balance for a cup of coffee.

Below is the screen shot of my day-to-day earnings from the Adgitize as a publisher, with a daily 100 points as advertiser, from September 1, 2009 to September 28, 2009, since the month is not yet over.

Thousands of Traffic, Visitors, Page Views

Aside from the cash rebate, equivalent to more than my 100% return on investment (ROI) for one month, Adgitize has been sending me traffic, with an average 60-70 visitors a day, or a total of 1,680 – 2,170 for a 31 day period. If you compute the cost per click (CPC), it is very cheap, at only $ 0.008 – $ 0.006.

This means for 31 days my blog has received thousands of page impressions and page views from visitors referred by Adgitize.

This is because my ad, together with the ads of other advertisers, can be seen, as it rotates randomly, in the 1,500 blogs of publishers all over the world, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

How To Score Points And Earn Income

All you have to do is to publish articles frequently, ideally on a daily basis (which we as bloggers enjoy doing, otherwise, why and what are we blogging for?), visit the other members’ blogs by clicking on the ads.

Since I’m also a member of Entrecard, I visit the EC members’ blogs and the Adgitize blogs simultaneously, hitting two birds with one stone, for the reason that many of the EC members are also Adgitize publishers/advertisers. So when I drop on the EC widgets on the blogs, I also click the ads, one ad per blog.

As you will see on the screen shot below, there were days when I could not publish an article, and there were  times that I failed to visit the members blogs to drop on the cards (Entrecard) and to click the ads (Adgitize).

When that happens, I got zero point if I could not publish an article, and also a zero point if I could not visit the blogs.

How To Maximize Your Earnings and Traffic

First, join Adgitize as a publisher. Joining is very easy with a quick sign up, here.

In the Adgitize members area:

1). Add your blog

2). Add the RSS feed of your blog, so that Adgitize can automatically keep track of your post everytime you publish and give you 100 points.

3). Get the code for an Adgitize Ad group — you can select a one ad, a 2 ad group, 6, 8, or 9 ads  group. But you can only place on your blog up to 10 ad group.

In the Admin area of your blog:

1). Place the Adgitize Ad group code on your blog

2). Publish articles to your blog daily or as often as you can. This will get some points for visitors to your blog as well as article points. This will earn a few cents a day.

Want more points and income?

Aside from publishing a new article everyday, if you have 2 or more blogs, you can add it all under your account.

Also add the blog address and RSS feed for each blog to your Adgitize members area and place the Adgitize code on your blog(s).

Use the maximum number of ads group allowed for your blog, or for your blogs, if you have multiple blogs.

Log into Adgitize each day before you start visiting the blogs and clicking on the Adgitize member ads from the Leaderboard, or in the Blogs Not Clicked Today list, or in the List of the Preferred Publishers.

When you click the ads on members blogs, only one count is given you, so that you chain drop from 1 blog to the next. Just click one ad per blog.

Entrecard Drops

Drop Entrecards at the same time as clicking through on the Adgitize ads to increase your traffic.

A combination of daily posting, points for visiting members ads, and points for page and ad views will give you 200-300 daily points a day, and will increase your earnings, as you can see on  my own daily earnings from the screenshots.

To maximise your earnings you need to get over 300 points daily. This can be done if you do daily drops, articles and have reasonable traffic, but there is an easier way.

Become an advertiser!

As an advertiser you get an extra 100 points daily. You also get a higher rate of points for the sites you visit and your page/ad views.

Combine these advertiser points with the publisher points you earn for articles (100 daily if you write regularly) and the points for visits.

As advertiser, you just visit 51 member blogs each day and you already earn 100 points. If you are a publisher only, you have to visit 100 blogs. With these, you can easily earn 300 points daily.

As you can see in the screenshot of my daily points and earnings, when you regularly earn 300-400 points a day, your earnings will exceed your advertising cost. Your advert is now effectively free.

Check your stats daily when you log into your Adgitize members area ( Reports – Total points earned) and look for the areas where you earn less than 100 points a day. Then think of ways to improve each of these areas and you will soon be on your way to making a decent payout each month to cover your cost of advertising, plus a cup of coffee or tea
