As a certified real estate broker, I have been asked by a friend to help sell their house and lot located in Victorias City, Negros Occidental, Philippines. Victorias City is home to Victorias Milling Company, one of the world’s largest integrated raw sugar mill and refinery complex and the biggest in Asia.
I have personally visited the place and I like the house and lot because it already has fruit bearing trees and a nice picnic area overlooking the river.
In this time of recession and global financial crisis, real estate is a sure investment, because when the economy recovers, prices of real estate appreciate, giving more value to the owner.. The secret, which is no secret at all, is to buy cheap during recession, and to sell high during recovery.

If only my funds are not tied up in my other real estate investments, I will surely buy that kind of property, to add up to my portfolio, since at the price of P 2.3 M., it is very cheap. It is not always that you can get such a low price for such a prime property.

Nice house indeed! I am an Ilongo by blood but my mother tongue is Cebuano and living in Mindanao. Is Victorias near Bacolod? My relatives are in Ilo-ilo and in Sipalay. I have gone to Sipalay twice though but never seen Victorias City along the way.
